My name is Erik Scerri. I am 23 years old, currently living in The Netherlands and reading for a Masters in Science in Game & Media Technology at Utrecht University. When it comes to music, I have been studying musical theory since the age of five, and I have an Associate Diploma in Musical Theory and Composition with the London College of Music. I have been composing freelance since the age of twelve. Since I started writing music, I have tried to remain as open as possible to new ideas and techniques, something which has kept my music dynamic and fluid. Nowadays, I am able to work with a wide range of styles; from full-blown soundtrack music, to electronic-based orchestral, to atmospheric ethnic tracks. I find myself mainly influenced by the wide range of fantastic cinematic soundtracks that usually accompany fantasty games and movies.

It is very important to me that music has a distinctive feel and a strong character, instead of just being an unimportant part of the background. Although I compose mainly cinematic and orchestral music, I am always eager to explore and implement new styles and genres into my music, keeping it fresh and exciting. Of course, I am always open to different opinions, so please don't hesitate to send me an email or a private message on any one of the websites I frequent!

All the music you can hear on this website is created digitally, throughout the entire production process. In some cases, the track may include cameos by musicians playing different instruments, but mostly the orchestral bits are entirely digitally produced.

Sound effects and other effects are also entirely created from scratch, and no copywritten sounds are used anywhere. If you're interested in finding out which software I use, and what my hardware is, use the button to the right.
